![]() I find the moral battle between duty, individual and social freedom interesting. It is well defined, from the beginning, a mixture between three main pillars: the old fanatical soul, the new soul that comes from our world and the (undeclared) influence of the Starcraft system. I won't say too much about the character so as not to give spoilers here. I gave 5 stars because nothing bothered me. I don't have anything to say about grammar, I'll leave it to the experts to give their opinions. It is admirable that the author avoided the monotony of the "let's do everything to raise the troops", the growth of the Starcraft elements being smooth, almost normal and natural. Even if the character receives initial help through the Starcraft system, trials and even death are there, waiting for the character to make a mistake in his choices. The story is good, linearly ascending without annoying falls. I like that the rhythm is sustained without giving the feeling of too much. The style of the novel is balanced between the moments of action, the presentation of the world in which the action takes place and the development of the character with her thoughts, experiences and emotions. I won't say anything about the action, it's a well-written book and I don't want to give spoilers to rob you of the joy of reading (big smile). development, troops, battles (fans know what I'm talking about). ![]() In this universe, the main heroine receives as a "golden finger" the Starcraft system with everything it implies. Unlike other novels with the Starcraft theme, the story takes place somewhere in the future in the "normal" world, it does not throw us into the Starcraft universe. The novel is a rewriting of the story, a remarkable improvement of the initial version. Upload Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday By collecting resources, Athena could build units and structures from the game Starcraft and use them in the new world she found herself in.įollow Athena as she grows her forces while carefully maneuvering her way through the darwinistic galaxy, doing everything she could along the way to conceal her own secrets and ensure her own survival. Luckily for her, Athena had one thing that made her unique. Just another cannon fodder who could be thrown away with thousands of her fellow expendables in a random battle in a war she knew nothing about. Making things worse, Athena became just another infantry trooper of the oppressive Venya Imperium. An age where human lives are just another tool to be used by their overlords, no different from bullets or fuel. An age where warships and cannons meant more than rights and wrongs. ![]() This is an age where empires and nations that spanned tens of thousands of planets fought for control in brutal wars.
